Cleaning Dildo

Hi all,
I was just wondering how do I clean a dildo that has been used anally
(its a silicone dildo that has batteries so I cant like boil it to sterilize it)

Personally, I've washed it with soap and then wipe it down with alcohol pad wipes and then let it dry, and wash before use but im not sure if thats the proper way to do it..

Great question. I'm glad it seems you've done a bit of research and haven't boiled it haha! This is a good option for toys without batteries, but sure can't work if they do.

It also seems like you've been doing a good job so far! You can absolutely continue to wash it with mild, unscented soap. Use of alcohol pads is optional, but totally fine if it's your preference. Soap should do enough to disinfect, but no harm in taking that extra step. If you're ever too tired to wash before you can also always just grab a condom and no washing required! Just make sure to use a new one every time and dispose of the old one.
