too much pubic hair?
I'll jump right and say that I am a VERY hairy teen and I've always been hairy everywhere on my body. Even my peach fuzz is visible.
Anyway, it's always bothered me but recently the amount of pubic hair I grow has been making more insecure than usual. I don't know if that amount is normal. My pubic hair is thicker than the hair on my head throughout its whole growth cycle. The bum crack situation is pretty much the same.
I've seen other girls naked and have had the occasional shaving conversation with them and no one grows this amount of thick hair. Is this normal for a girl or is it something I should get checked out?

Re: too much pubic hair?
Hi ieateyelashes! Welcome to the boards!
This all sounds perfectly normal to me! Some of us just have more body hair than others. Your natural hair color, thickness, and ethnicity/genetics can all affect natural amounts of body hair.
As a fellow hairy girl I can totally relate to how it feels like nobody else has as much body hair as you. And there’s a lot of annoying stigma and debate around body hair which definitely doesn’t help.
This doesn’t sound like something that needs to be taken to a doctor. Unless you are noticing body hair in places you wouldn’t typically expect like thick beard like hair on your chin or chest hair— this could potentially be a symptom of PCOS/PMOS.
Otherwise you might just be among the glorious ranks of hairy babes
