BURNS FROM NOT USING LUBE

Unread post by Tealscarf »

long story short
I CANNOT get lube, so please don't advise me to get lube, i really CANT with where I am, and i usually substitute with coconut oil or something.

I screwed up

I'm a teen
I couldn't get lube
I shoved a cucumber in vagina

And now I've burnt my skin from friction
It hurts so much

And since I can't tell anyone
I put unsalted butter on it for soothing
This could cause infections, but i don't know what to do.
When it drys up it hurts a lot I need something like butter
I know I can get infections from this but I really have no choice

It hurt while entry, i basically forced it in because I was desperate, felt good for a while when it went all the way inside but trying to pull out was difficult, it was stuck. As if my walls were latching onto the cucumber so I had to pull it out with force.

Basically on entry and exit I had so much friction going on that it burns, it HURTS, i can't sit without it hurting.

What do I do???

This doesn't happen when I use coconut oil but this time I ended up skipping it and now I'm suffering
(Burns on the inside of my vagina too, not just the entrance and inner lips)
HELP PLEASE

Hello Tealscarf

I am so sorry to hear that you are in pain. You might be able to manage this at home, if there isn't any bleeding or significant cuts, and if the injury seems to get better with time. It sounds like you haven't noticed any bleeding--is that correct?

I really think you stop using butter--I understand it is soothing, but it is a dairy product, and might allow the growth of microbes that you don't want to deal with right now--especially since you might have small cuts and abrasions in the vagina.

Instead, I would suggest making a habit of gently washing the area with warm water, patting it dry, and wearing loose fitting bottoms and underwear (preferably of natural, breathable fabrics like cotton) until you feel better. You can take an over-the-counter painkiller to help with the pain--you might have access to paracetamol or ibuprofen at home. For any painkiller, make sure to look up how often you can take it--start with less, and do not exceed that dose.

If the pain doesn't seem manageable with these steps, you might have to go to the doctor. Is that something you think you could do?

Hello Tealscarf,

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better! If coconut oil has worked for you so far, and hasn't caused any irritation, you can continue to use it. Does that sound good to you?

I believe you about the fact that buying lube would be very difficult for you--indeed, perhaps impossible. However, if you'd like, we can go over your circumstances and resources to see if thinking together helps us find a way for you to get lube--store-bought lube has some advantages over the things you have at home.

I also want to share our article on DIY sex toys--it has ideas for sex toys that you can make at home, and useful safety information.

Hey, Tealscarf. I've just noticed that you're using a VPN on our services here, something we don't allow and was mentioned in the user agreement.

In order to keep working with you in our direct services you're going to have to use a different internet service provider to access them, please, one that shows your actual location. You've used one for some posts in the past, so whatever you used for other posts that isn't a VPN will do just fine. Thanks.
