hi guys, i’m coming on here because i’m scared i could possibly be pregnant.
i was on day 4 of my cycle and i had unprotected genital to genital contact with this guy. he did not penetrate or ejaculate but i’m scared there was possible precum. his penis tip was like on my vaginal area for like 5-7 seconds and i’m so worried.
after that, i got a bleed around two or three weeks later but im scared it wasn’t actually my period.

Hi lolaappn, welcome to the boards. While in this case, your partner's pre-ejaculation virtually has no possibility of creating pregnancy, it might be helpful to get a pregnancy test just to be sure. Since you mentioned some bleeding, would you say this bleeding is different from your typical period discharge?

well the bleed was similar to my period, it was bright red and lasted 5 days. i took a test and it was negative but what if it’s a cryptic pregnancy ?? i know i probably sound crazy right now.

It's ok, you don't sound crazy. You do sound anxious though.

If you had your period and it was normal and your pregnancy test was negative then you are not pregnant.

Cryptic pregnancies are very uncommon and usually happen because someone is either unaware of or in denial about symptoms of pregnancy. Even with cryptic pregnancies, tests still come back negative and the pregnant person still misses their period. Now, if your periods are really irregular sometimes it can be hard to tell if you missed a period. But it sounds like you had a very "normal" period.

If it is truly still causing you anxiety, you could always contact your local Planned Parenthood and ask for a pregnancy test done by a medical professional.

Do you typically experience anxiety or spiraling thoughts? Even outside of thinking you're potentially pregnant?

my periods are considered regular, i’ve never missed one before but sometimes they come later than expected.

and yes, i have spiraling thoughts and i always seem to think the worst. it’s driving me insane, especially with this whole situation.

also, what about fingering? before the bleed began, i got fingered on my fertile day with possible precum. i’m scared that could’ve contributed to a pregnancy risk.

Yes, as others have said it sounds like that was your actual period and that this situation did not cause pregnancy. I will say that unprotected genital to genital contact does pose a risk to pregnancy, but in this situation contact was very limited and your test is negative indicating you’re not pregnant.

Fingering with possible pre-ejaculate does not pose any risk to pregnancy because if there were any sperm in the pre-ejaculate, it would die out before being transferred to a hand and then to the vagina.

so even tho it happened on my fertile day i’m still safe from pregnancy from fingering with possible precum?

and overall my chances of being pregnant from these encounters are zero?
