I want to get into dating but don't know where to start
Okay so I want to try dating but I don't know where to start especially since most of the people I've ever had a crush on were guys and most people at my school are straight in some way or another I just want a way to find somebody who says it first because I am not very good at someone "hinting" they like me I don't get the hints. Especially since I really couldn't imagine someone having a crush on me I don't get how somebody could think about me or get happy when they see me like it's just me
. how could I start dating or maybe even find other queer people in my community?

Hi MRIemon,
The way to "start" dating is really to just be open to meeting new people. How are your friendships at school? Are you in any sorta clubs or sports which allow you to meet new people? Being more social in any capacity is what opens you up for the possibly of a romantic connection (and of course friends are always great too!).
It can be hard, especially at your age, to connect with other queer people. I do feel like queer people have a way of finding eachother, especially in spaces like school. Have you talked with any freinds about this or your sexuailty? it could also be worth looking into if your school has a club for queer students!

Re: I want to get into dating but don't know where to start
I'm not in any clubs as school just started but last year there was a pride club i would just have to check what class its in and if its before or after school but ill see I'm not in any sports or anything but since school just started I got a bunch of new people in my classes so ill be more open to new people. We'll see how things go.
