Premature Ejaculation

Recently for the past couple weeks I've been struggling with ejaculating much quicker than normal for me and have been trying different things but nothing seems to work. Is there anything I can do to maybe help with this?

Can you tell us little more about what you've tried? And how long is much quicker than usual, for you?

I'd also like to check in on one of your previous conversations here, too, where you talked about some difficulties feeling pleasure during sex. How is that now?

I've tried edging but I struggle with it and it hasn't seem to help me much so I only last about minute to two before ejaculating. I don't have the problem of not feeling pleasure anymore however as I feel a lot of pleasure now especially in certain areas.

I'm glad you're experiencing more pleasure than you were when you first posted here.
It sounds like you might be feeling some shame or self-judgement around the time it is taking to reach orgasm or ejaculation- but I want to reassure you that this is totally normal: A problem with "premature" ejaculation...maybe isn't premature ejaculation.. Most people with penises reach orgasm in less than 3 minutes of genital stimulation.

So hearing that you are feeling more pleasure sounds like a huge win. Do you think you could try and remove some of the judgement around timing for yourself and instead continue to focus on pleasure and explore that?

Yeah, I'm trying to be better about that and focusing on the pleasure more.

Hi again xTyl. When it comes to how you feel about the timing of your orgasm, maybe you could start with what you've been taught/socialized about orgasm and ejaculation. What are the things that don't align with your own thoughts, and those that do? Is there anything that's directly/indirectly pressuring you to hold off your orgasm for a certain time, and what would realistically happen if you "fail" to do so? You don't need to do all of this in one sitting before masturbating, but these questions could be something you consider.
