early withdrawal bleeding

Unread post by ah7 »

hi! i just wanted to check something briefly here , i’m on the combined pill and usually get my ‘period’ on a sunday morning but this time i got it saturday evening (meaning this cycle was 27 rather than 28 days) i’m not overly concerned as i have been taking my pill correctly and nothing has really changed (maybe slight weight loss/stress but nothing major) but just wanted to check to see if there is something i should be concerned about (also i have been on the pill for a year now so my body is quite used to it)

thank you!

Hi ah7,

Periods (or withdrawal bleeds) won't come always come on the exact same day, even if someone is on the pill, so this is not an indicator that anything is wrong.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
