Underlying fears

Unread post by Sam W »

Hi aaru257,

Before you do anything else,I want you to read this article: You're Not Pregnant. Why Do You think You Are?.

Looking at that article, do any of the reasons offered feel like they apply to you?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.

hi!
yes
i think its because my period usually comes by day 32 and today is day 34
the risk was me sitting on my boyfriend's lap without underwear but he was wearing underwear and jeans and once before that, my vagina on his jeans while we were making out.
I am just worried because my period isn't here yet.

So, that isn't really one of the reasons listed in that article, unless you think there might be an underlying issue with your reproductive health that's causing cycle irregularity. Can you give it a second look and see if any of the other reasons feel like they apply to you?

So you know, having a period that's a few days late or early is pretty common, so that in and of itself isn't cause for concern.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.

Hi Aaru257, you’ll see that you’ve been redirected to thread again. In addition to rereading the Pregnancy Panic companion, could you please take a look at this article: You're Not Pregnant. Why Do You Think You Are?, and if you feel comfortable doing so, let us know your thoughts/what stands out to you in it?

Hi aaru257,
I've redirected you to this thread as Elise did previously. I recommend that you take a look at her response above mine and let me know your thoughts. Is that okay with you?
