Took my pill late

Hi there,

I had sex with my partner on friday and Saturday when I was on week 1 of my pill. And then the following week, on Wednesday, I forgot to take my pill until 8 hours later then the original time, which is 10.30am. I took it only at 6.30pm when I remembered. No other pills were late and I have been taking it religiously after and have started when I was supposed to. I am wondering if there is a need for any additional back up protection? Or if there were any reduced efficacy of my pill? Expecting bleed to come 23 Oct as next week will be my last pill week.

Hey Juliaho90,
