Growth off side of vaginal wall

Hi, I was feeling inside my vagina while showering and felt what seemed like a significant growth maybe 2cm off my vaginal wall.
I remember feeling something a few years ago but I think it has now grown in size.
I have booked a gp consult in a few days time, just curious what it might be and whether going to a gp is the right thing for this. Thanks!

Hi Cocopops,

Is what you're feeling on the sides of the vaginal canal, or is it at the back, top, or bottom?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.

Would you say it's closer to a hard bump or does it feel softer or fleshier than that?
