I have been on anti depressant for half a year now. In these months the thing that I have noticed is that I don't enjoy sex as much as I used to. idk if this because I have a different partner now or it is caused by anti depressant. I thought it was supposed to make me happy but what the heck :?: :!: :?: :?: :!:

Hi Sadikshya,

Many antidepressants can, in fact, have sexual side effects. That can include trouble feeling aroused, or difficulty feeling pleasure or reaching orgasm during sex. So, if you noticed the changes in how much you enjoy sex around the same time you started the medication, that suggests it might be playing a role.

That being said, how are you feeling about sex with your new partner overall? Does it feel like a positive experience for you when you do have it?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
