Pubic hair problems

I recently shaved my pubic area (as a guy) and felt extremely itchy throughout the day. Is this normal ?

Totally normal. That area of the body is very sensitive and also tends to get really warm, so itching after shaving or when hair starts to grow back is pretty much a given.
