0 sensation from my clit + can't fit anything in

Unread post by ilovelanadelrey »

okay so. i'm a teen girl & i've tried touching myself a few times... it's not fun. my clit is pretty buried so i have to "push it out" (i guess that's the best way to describe it) and when i touch it, i feel absolutely nothing. i've tried putting a finger in but i can't! maybe i'm not putting it in the right place? like it seriously WILL NOT go in. not even a little bit. not even just the tip of my finger. i'm sure it's obvious, but i'm a virgin which could be the reason i'm having these issues? i've read a few articles on "how to masturbate" and they all just say "rub your clit, don't be afraid to get in there" like okay i'm trying that? it's not working! my friend & i were talking about sex the other day and she was telling me about how great it is to touch yourself (i lied and said i never have, but let's be honest, i basically haven't because i've literally never felt anything from it ever). i can't help but be a little jealous of her. wish i could feel that way. is there something wrong with my clit or my vagina as a whole? how come nothing fits, and why don't i feel anything?

Hi Ilovelanadelrey, welcome to the boards!

Don't worry, it is very unlikely that there are any issues with your body. These are actually common problems that people have when they start exploring masturbation, and there are ways to address them.

To start, I have a question: when you're trying to masturbate, are you already feeling physically and mentally aroused? If you are not, that might explain some of the difficulty here. Physical arousal tends to cause lubrication and muscle relaxation, which can make it easier to put things inside. Furthermore, touching yourself tends to feel much more pleasurable when you are already aroused; it might not feel as interesting otherwise.

Given how many people have asked similar questions here, I assure you, the location of the vagina is not actually that obvious. We have an article that functions as a kind of guided tour to your anatomy. Would you read it and tell us if you have any questions?
