Painful sex and masturbation as an amab person
Hello! I'm amab and I am having trouble with painful sex and somewhat less but still painful masturbation. I'm pretty sure it's not phimosis as I can fully retract my foreskin without issue, but when I am erect, it hurts to do so, and especially hurts to pull more than just behind the end of the glans penis. I don't know what I should do.

Hi rainysky!
When you're erect everything is going to be a bit more stretched and it sounds like your foreskin is having a difficult time moving around because of this?
If so, perhaps keeping moisturized and lubricated can be helpful here: using water based lubricant will mean there is less rubbing occurring during sex or masturbation and it might also make your skin slightly more flexible.
I'd recommend being careful not to push yourself too far if things become painful and talking to your partner(s) about it so you can more easily communicate the need to adjust, slow-down or stop during sex if you need to.
If you've been pushing through painful scenarios you might have caused some minor injuries, leading to more sensitivity and slowing down your skin's ability to heal. Is it possible that has been happening?
I'd say if lube, and other adjustments aren't helping it might be helpful to talk to a doctor, who then might be able to diagnose any issues with your skin or any thing else!
I hope that helps!
