Condom sizes
So um im beginning to get sexually active and i want to have sex. I'm tryin to figure out what size condom will fit me, but everything I look up, comes up with different answers and measurements. I just want to know a general size that will fit my penis and not break or slide off during sex. And I don't want to have to go and buy a bunch of condoms to test because they are expensive. I'm pretty sure my penis is on the average or maybe a little above average size. It is 8 inches long and about 6.5 inches in girth. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Re: Condom sizes
Hey there! Sounds to me like the standard size condoms will do just fine for you! That means most condoms unless they say slimmer or large will be fine.
It might help to know that I am an average sized person and can fit a standard size just fine over my forearm. Most people will do fine with standard size. Many places also sell single condoms, btw, so you can always try one that way to check without breaking the bank.
I will add that the quality of condoms often has a lot more to do with their comfort and durability, so I’d more more concerned with that than size!

Re: Condom sizes
Thanks! But you were kinda wrong. I spent 12 bucks on a pack of regular sized condoms and put one on. It was very tight and uncomfortable. I tried masturbating and it broke literally immediately. I guess I need a bigger size? Large? XL? What brands are good?

Re: Condom sizes
Hi there,
The fact that the condom broke immediately is a little bit concerning for overall quality/storage of the condoms. I know it sucks to spend money on something that doesn't work for you, but it might take some experimentation to find a good fit. I am going to link a size chart which shows how different brands/types of condoms are actually sized: https://condomdepot.com/condom-informat ... ize-chart/
They also link some articles on how to measure for sizing. It might be helpful to get better context on what you're buying before you buy it.
Like Heather said, some places will sell single condoms, so you can try to look for that rather than buying a whole pack.
I also think a review of how to open and put on condoms could be useful for you: Condom Basics: A User's Manual

Re: Condom sizes
Thanks! This is helpful. Seems like I need the magnum xl is the best bet. Or something bigger even? How stretchy are they? FYI I do know how to put on and store condoms. I made sure I was doing it right. Should I buy some magnum xls to test?

Re: Condom sizes
Hi,
Condoms are typically made of latex and quite stretchy. As Heather said, they can fit a standard size over their forearm. Sounds like you have done some looking into sizing charts, which is great! The next step would be to purchase and test them out.
