There are many other reasons why a period might be delayed: strenuous exercise, stress, medical conditions etc. (more about that here: M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period? And it sounds like your girlfriend’s period have been lately coming later than expected too.

It sounds to me like this is causing you a lot of anxiety, is it something you experience in other parts of your life as well? And is it just you or is your girlfriend worried too?
