Ready but not ready?
A friend of mine came to me with this question, but I've never had a sexual relationship (or a relationship, period), so I don't really know how to help. She said her boyfriend brought up maybe having sex. She said she told him she'd be up for it, but she came to me saying she's not ready. Obviously, the first thing I said was "then don't do it". I know that didn't help, but I didn't really know what else to say. Is there anything more I could do to help?

Re: Ready but not ready?
You could link her to some great Scarleteen articles like these:

http://www.scarleteen.com/article/polit ... o_have_sex
http://www.scarleteen.com/article/relat ... g_too_fast
And I think it's great that you told her what you did. You sound like a great friend!
