It's been exactly one week today that I was supposed to get my period, or the fifth week without having a period. I have never engaged in either protected or unprotected sex, though I have been involved with oral stimulation with my boyfriend. My period is usually fairly regular and it being a week late has been awful terrifying. I really think the chances of me being pregnant are little to none, but the longer I wait for my period, the more fearful I get. Since waiting for my period I've researched many possible causes for a late period and the only possibly applicable one is stress. Though I haven't been super stressed, worrying about pregnancy has been stressful. I keep thinking that maybe if semen had been in my mouth and then kissed him and he later (an hour or so) orally stimulated me there's a slight chance I could have been fertiled? Or maybe it's something worse than pregnancy? Or I just missed a period somehow? Or it's just really late? My mother is also aware of my late period and is suspectful that I could have engaged in actual sex, which is not true. I'm wondering when or if I should alert someone of my missed/late period. I just keep hoping every day my period will come to save me from all this worry.
Thanks!

Re: Probably not pregnant but worried?
Hi Han,
We will not answer ANY questions about pregnancy fear or anxiety in our direct services from users who are not pregnant or who are not or have not otherwise been directly involved with an actual pregnancy.
Please do not post this kind of question. If you are seeing this text, and your thread is locked, it is because you have posted this kind of question.
We CAN and WILL talk about things like:
• choosing and using a method or methods of contraception for any future sexual activity
• creating your own sexual limits and boundaries based on your needs and/or presenting them to any partners
• making sexual choices that suit your own needs, abilities and limitations, including your own readiness for certain possible risks
• help locating or using emergency contraception if and when you have had a pregnancy risk
• discussing options with a real, existing pregnancy, and help finding and accessing those options, such as abortion services and pre-natal care, or discussing feelings or concerns about a past pregnancy
• help with anxiety like locating mental health services, sound self-help or asking for support from friends or family

You mentioned some things about your cycle and your mom. We've made a new thread to talk about that with you here: http://www.scarleteen.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3926
