Periods.

Why do periods start and stop. I would have a period, but on the 4th day it appears as if it has finished early (like no blood at all when I wipe), then probably later on in the day or the morning after the remaining of the flow starts again?

I'm not sure anyone knows why it happens. It's not uncommon at all though, and something plenty of people experience. (Nothing to be concerned about either, even if it is a bit irritating sometimes.)
