Genital acne?
Hello!
I'd like to know if it's possible to get acne on the clitoral hood. I've been on testosterone therapy for a few years, so I'm used to acne arriving where it's least expected, but I also know that there are body parts where you're not supposed to get it.
This doesn't look like any lesion or sore I can associate with any STI, and it does look like acne. (I know that ideally, anything like this would get looked at by a doctor, but as a trans man and a rape survivor I would really love to avoid that trauma if possible.)
All that to say: is it possible to get acne on the clitoral hood?

Hi Keeper!
From what I know, I'd say it's possible to get acne wherever you have skin and pores which can get clogged. So it could be.
But as you say, a doctor would be who could properly identify what it is, if it is indeed something else. Seeing a doctor would be the recommended thing to do, but of course it's your decision.
Aside from that, have you looked at finding a doctor who you'd be more comfortable with? I wonder if that might be handy for you?
