Symptoms A period is starting soon??

Hi i had a quick question. My period is supposed to start this coming Tuesday and I have been experiencing slight aches and tenderness in my breasts. And I have also seen white and clear discharge in my underwear. Is that normal? Also I took 2 pregnancy tests and they both came out negative, so I think I have nothing to worry about. I just want to know if the symptoms I mentioned are normal when it comes to periods.

Sore or tender breasts are quite common leading up to a period, yep. Your discharge also sounds perfectly fine - many people notice that they have less discharge in the second half of their cycle (the two weeks or so before their period starts) but white or clear discharge at any time is not something to be concerned about. Thank you Karyn I also had another question. Does it matter how cheap a pregnancy test is? Mine was $11.99 and i took the test twice and both times it came out negative, so should I be worried in terms of how cheap or expensive a particular test is??

Cost doesn't matter, no. As long as a test is not expired (and there will be an expiry date printed somewhere on the packaging) and you follow the instructions that come with the test, you're all good.
