Pill user but condom broke
Pill user but condom broke
As a preface, my birth control has 28 pills, 24 blue ones with both progestin and estrogen, two with only estrogen, and two inactive pills. I've been on it for three and a half/four months, and I take it at almost the exact same time every day, I've never missed a pill. My partner and I always use condoms but recently it broke and we realized after. I had just taken my last blue (progestin and estrogen) pill and tomorrow I am supposed to take my estrogen-only one, and in two days, I take my inactive ones. Do I need to take Plan B, since I am taking an estrogen-only pill tomorrow and am going to take the inactive ones soon???
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hello there, Holymoly. Welcome to Scarleteen.
As long as you take your pills on time and without missing any -- which sounds like you do! -- there is no need for Emergency Contraception. If and when someone is taking Birth Control pills, the protection works on the whole cycle. You can learn more about this, here: http://www.scarleteen.com/article/advic ... ebo_period
