Itching that needs to stop

Unread post by ejmg24 »

I was perscribed antibiotics a few weeks back for a minor uti, but as usual, i ended up getting a yeast infection after. The main symptoms of the infection are gone but im still experiencing vulva itching. Just wondering if this is normal? I plan to make an appointment with my doctor soon but im not sure how long it will take to get one. Just looking for some peace of mind.

Thanks!

Hi ejmg24,

Yes, as a yeast infection starts to fade, there will be some residual itching. I would definitely make an appointment with your doctor to make sure you've got what you need to treat the infection.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
