Vitamin C and birth control
I read somewhere online that taking vitamin C while on birth control can cause the pill to be less effective. However, I've also seen other facts stating that vitamin C is necessary to take on birth control due to definciency! I take a dosage of 1000mg vitamin C in the morning along with my pill; should I be worried about my pill not working as well? I am taking Tri-lo Marzia and I'm not taking any other medication that could alter my birth control and I take it consistently. Thank you!!

Thank you! So basically, taking supplements would qualify as like food or water taken with my pill and therefore not interact?

Re: Vitamin C and birth control
Yes, unless it's listed under the category of things that can interfere, you can assume it's equal to taking something like food or water.
