Hi,
I'm on the combined pill 'microlite' and i took my Day 5 pill 11 hours late (i was supposed to take it at 9:00pm however I took it at 8:10am this morning instead). I plan on using condoms as a backup for the next week as recommended. However I had sex 2 days prior (Tuesday) and used the pull out method too but I'm worried of the chance of getting pregnant from it since I took the day 5 pill late. The instructions say I'm fine for up to 12 hours but as it was so close to 12 hours I'm still worried? Do you think there is a heightened chance of pregnancy?
Please advise!

Since you have a 12 hour grace period before it's considered late, then figure that taking it 11 hours late did not decrease the effectiveness (even if it felt like a close call).
