legality of text sexting?

in the USA, more specifically Northeastern states, is dirty talk/sexual role-play between two minors over text legal? I'd assume so since almost all digital child pornography laws I know of are in regards to images

So long as it's consensual (otherwise, it could be harassment of one party to another), my understanding is that there are not any legal issues.
