But can you define the direct contact meaning? sperm on underwear is seen as indirect and not a risk but penis to vagina is direct and is a risk?
Or is any contact with sperm described as direct?

I reread pregnancy companion and I think I understand now.
So there is only a direct risk if ejaculate comes from the penis to the vagina with no stops in between?
And in the case of my example of ejaculate in the underwear it would just be like the case of dry humping because the sperm would soak into the fabric (if it's like cotton not lace) and therefore can't create a viable pregnancy risk yeah?
