Taking pill late
Hi Scarleteen,
I usually take my combined pill at 7:30 but as I’m not at home and don’t have it with me, will it do any harm in me taking it late? Like 3 hours max?

With any medication you take, you always want to go ahead and read all the patient information that comes with it. I'd suggest if you haven't ever done so with your pill, now is as good a time as any!
With combined oral contraceptives, it's generally presented that a user has a 12-hour period before a p[ill is considered to have been taken late, and a 24-hour period before it is considered missed. With mini-pills, there is only a 3 hour period before it's late.
