Birth control mishap
Okay so last month, I messed up my birth control cycle by missing two pills in a row so that left me with having to take 3 pill in one setting and it did throw my period of tremendously last month (last about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks). Will that birth control mishap mess up this months cycle? I started a new pack this month but i’m not starting on the date I did last month BUT i’m not the week of period pills. Please help

Hi jmblya,
We can't know for certain how long it will take for your cycle to readjust, but as long as you take your pills according to the directions you'll help your cycle stabilize. Are you finding the pills to be a good fit for you, birth control-wise? Or are you thinking you might like to explore some different options?

Re: Birth control mishap
When this month started, I’ve been taking my pills regularly without missing a day.

Re: Birth control mishap
Hi jmblya,
Like Sam said, we can't know for certain when your cycle will settle down and whether you will get a withdrawal bleed this month.
I think that when Sam was asking about birth control options, she meant whether you'd thought about trying something other than the pill, which you wouldn't have to remember every day?
