Hi I’m 13 and I don’t know what I’m doing I watched porn a lot and I’m scarred that I’m not normal and don’t know what to do so I masturbated and it kind of felt good and now I feel really bad because I’m just 13

Hi JustAGirl,

Masturbation is a perfectly normal part of sexual development, and plenty of people your age do it. So if some of those bad feelings are coming from thinking you're "too young" to be masturbating I promise you that's not the case. Are there other things about masturbating that are making you feel bad? And when you say you are scared that you're not normal, can you tell me more about that?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
