Took my birth control late

Hi guys. So I took my pill late one day about 11 hours and the next day I took it about 6 hours late on the first week of my package am I still safe?

Hi Amarie,

Exactly how late is a problem depends on your manufacturer, so the best thing to do is to read the information leaflet that came with your pills. By the sounds of it, it may be a good idea to back up your pill with condoms for the rest of this cycle.

Since you've had some difficulty taking your pills on time every day, I wonder if it's the best method for you. Would you like to talk about alternatives that might be a better fit?
