Hi dk030993,

No, condoms are not more likely to fail during one part of your cycle than another. The best thing you can do if planning to use a condom is to know all the steps for using it correctly (as that will make it breaking as unlikely as possible). You can read all about that here: All the Barriers! All the Time!
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.

Hey
Sorry to bother you guys again
im just paranoid again
me and my boyfriend had sex with condom on but we used saliva as a lubricant but we made sure he didnt ejaculate inside and i checked later on to see if it had broken and it was intact
the thing is i read somewhere that using saliva as lubricant can break condoms
can i be at a risk?

Hello there, dk.

While saliva is not the best lubricant for condoms, or sex, it won't make a condom break. What makes a condom break, actually, is friction with lack of lubrication. That said, if the condom didn't slip or break, you can trust it did its job successfully. :)
