Pregnancy , health related or normal issue

Unread post by Asian »

Hi scarleteen members / staff , exactly on June 5 , I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend , we two are really scared about pregnancy , but the main point of posting this post is NOT about pregnacy fear , because we already get thru it , I had 2 periods and one negative pregnancy test , so it's clearly I'm not pregnant , but yesterday and last 2 days , I found that there were clots ( no blood just clots ) at my vagina when I go to toilet , those are siMilar to my menstrual clots , can I ask your opinion , is it just the old clots that haven't came out during period ? Thanks Scattered staff , really appreciate for any helps ❤️

Hi Asian,

Is this happening shortly before or after your period? And, to make sure I'm understanding you correctly, are the clots are dark in color?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.

Got it. So, we can't say for certain what's causing this, although it could be related to your period. That being said, if you're concerned you may want to check in with a healthcare provider to find out what's going on.

Too, are you and your boyfriend up to date on your STI tests?

Hi Sam , yes , we are STI free from last year's checkup , but we are not scared about pregnancy
Since
1. I took ec 14 hours after the sex
2. I get my period, as usual for two cycles
3.I took a pregnancy test , about 38 days after sex , came out negative

So , pregnancy isn't my concern right Sam ?

If it has stopped , can I just ignore it ?

Per our policy (which is seems like you're familiar with), I'm not going to engage with the pregnancy question.

If it has stopped, then it may have been just a little bit of body or cycle weirdness (as I said, we can't know for certain what it was). But, if you notice it happening again, especially if it's not happening around your period or if there are other symptoms happening along with it, then it might be time to check in with a healthcare provider.
