(Completely Un-related) Is it bad to watch war headcam footage?
I know this isn't sex related but I don't know who else to ask.
I'm interested in watching Syria, Iraq etc. war headcam footage because I fear I am getting the wrong idea of what war is like from movies, video games, the media etc. I don't want to watch the footage to enjoy it, I want to be educated on what war is really like.
I just don't know if this is sick or twisted to watch it or if it will be bad for my mental health. I just don't want to get the wrong idea about what war is like, a subject I am passionate about researching.

jackojacko2000,
I don't think it's sick or twisted. Being educated about what's actually happening in the war is an intelligent move. Movies, videogames, and media do romanticize what happens in war. Want to educate yourself is not wrong. If you are worried that it will be bad for your mental health, consider options to take care of yourself (I'm not doctor or therapist so I don't want to lead you astray on this).
