Relationships that deviate from "the norm"
I was recently talking to one of my close friends who just experienced being in a polyamorous relationship for the first time. Although afterwards she decided polyamorous relationships weren't for her, she has also decided that a monogamous two-person relationship may never work for her. For her, sh...

Re: Reciprocating
HI anonymous2.0, It sounds like one of the reasons you mentioned before for feeling like you can't is that you are scared you'll do something wrong or that he won't like it, do you think that is one of the reasons? And if so, have you talked to him at all about that concern? What other things do you...

Re: Bleeding whilst on pill and not during 7 day break
Hi lozzarg1214, Is the bleeding only there after intercourse as well? Or does it happen randomly and/or come and go? I saw in your last posts that you encountered abnormal bleeding a few months ago. How did that resolve itself? And have you ever noticed this constant smell before? Spotting is one of...

Re: Antibiotics and Birth Control
Hi rosalie21, There is no definite answer to when your spotting may stop. Antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of the pill and may alter the pill's affects in different ways, potentially such as spotting. All bodies respond to birth control (and antibiotics) in different ways which is why we c...

Re: The sex
Hi slazaa,
There is no direct answer for what exactly is making you feel like you have to pee as it is different for everyone, so it could certainly stem from g-spot stimulation and/or pressure on your bladder.

Re: Clarifying Questions about Pill
Hi Collegekiwi, The pill is 91% effective in typical use, which is a good estimate for people who may occasionally have late pills. Combined with withdrawal, the pill is around 96% effective with typical use. Everyone's bodies respond differently to the pill (as with any contraceptive) and there are...

Re: Treatment from Parents
Right I remember you mentioned that story before. What are your thoughts on my other questions?
And are there any ways you have thought about bringing up the topic that feel comfortable for you? Or any times of the day you think going to the park alone would be best for you or most plausible?

The dosage that has been prescribed to you will not impact the effectiveness of your pill.
It sounds like you have a lot of ungrounded worries or anxiety about your pill. What are you feeling anxious about?

Re: Self-Fulfilling Prophecies
Hi MusicNerd, Those are a lot of great responses and it sounds like you have a pretty good handle of what's going on. Based on your pattern of stressing out in the past but everything ending up working out, it does make sense that a lot of this fear or pessimism is based off your own feelings like y...

Yep the pill works just the same during the placebo period as it does during the other three weeks of your pill cycle.

Re: spotting a day or two before placebos
Hi as17,
If you have taken your pill as directed, the effectiveness will not be compromised. For some people, sometimes spotting and bleeding can happen just before the end of taking active pills - so it is not related to any indication of the pill's effectiveness.

Hi MusicNerd, I am sorry you have gotten stuck in one of those loops - they can feel so hard to get out of and it does really suck how easily they can become self-fulfilling prophecies. Self-care is a big part of getting yourself out of the loop, as is identifying what you're feeling and why. In reg...
